A: Newer computer games are extremely complex and require lots of processing power and memory. Check on the box the game came in for the recommended specifications to play the game. If your PC doesn’t meet or exceed these then consider calling Desktop Doctors for an Upgrade today!

  • Q: My internet is down again. What can I do to fix it and why does it go down all the time?

A: There are several reasons why you may not be able to connect to the web. The first step you should take is to power cycle your modem and router by unplugging them from the wall and waiting for 30 seconds before plugging them back in. If that doesn’t work check to make sure that you aren’t using a lot of bandwidth. ISPs(Internet Service Providers) have been known to temporarily shut off a customer’s internet access if they are using too much bandwidth. Another cause of this is your computer being a part of a “botnet” which means your PC is being controlled by a virus or Trojan that could be sending thousands of spam emails from your PC. Call Desktop Doctors today for a Virus Scan and Removal!
